It has now been over eight years since 'rag week' during our final days as students at LUMS. We were all dressed up as 'jamadaars' when we invaded Professor Ijlal Shah's office. Adnan Bhutta quietly picked up his wallet that lay on his desk. With all sincerity, we then negotiated among ourselves on how much we should take from his wallet as a 'donation' to our class. We believe the deal was struck in a very fair environment as we slid out the 'big notes'. Our impeccable character as a class was highlighted when we honorably returned a somewhat lighter wallet back to him. I remember that he was truly thankful and felt that the whole process was at least transparent. Finally, crazy Runaas poured a bucket full of water on Dr. Riaz, bringing the festivities to a dramatic end. Those were the days :). Oh Well, that was a trip down nostalgia lane, let's come back to the realities of life and how/what all of us are doing.
Adeel Meer Saheeb a.k.a Jon, has been bestowed with a new nick name in the ghettos of New York(Jersey City). He is now known as 'Fidvi' as in 'aap ka fidvi'. The latest excitement in his life is 'Poker'. Now this is what happens in the absence of a wife, a care taker or a girlfriend in US. All his married friends in NY and NJ seek refuge at his bachelor pad every friday for a poker night and the winner gets all...i.e. a six pack of diet coke! Oh by the way he is doing very well professionally in case you wonder.

Still single and under tremendous pressure to get the issue sorted out.
Junaid Bin Jahangir will most probably be working with his long time mentor Dr. Bashir Khan at FC University. Currently, he assists a human rights activist and works behind the scenes on issues related to the LGBT. He hopes to adopt an orphaned child someday.

He is happily married to Sara and has recently changed his last name to Sara Deheem from Deheem Yousuf. He is also trying to learn Salsa and beats hands down the next worst student in class.

Salman Khalid is an outdoors animal. He has summited Mt. Rainier in Seattle and barely escaped frostbite.
